Fidgetal Games 10

Information summary

From October 5 to October 22, 2023, Fidget Games 10 were held in Kazan, which were the final test competitions before the main tournament. The Alga Group team completed 8 tests out of 10.

Our work pool:

- Concept of the Games of the Future in general, event design, set-design, audio-visual content (intro, screensavers, profiles, light, sound, sound-design)

- All directing and producing

- Administration of the sports part of the event.

Perhaps the most complex and time-consuming subject of “Figitial Games 10” was multimedia content.

The grain of the sports concept of Fidgetal Games 10 was that athletes first compete in cyber-sports, and then in reality, physically.

By developing the physical discipline “Basketball” we were able to combine both worlds, where even real competitions looked like a cyber discipline thanks to advanced multimedia technologies and content. Here, the LED screen covered the wall of the pavilion and continued inextricably on the basketball field, which made it possible to make the markings animated in the corporate style of the event.

Most of the content reacted to player movements and reflected game moments, and also demonstrated all the traditional statistical and physical data obtained from player tracking sensors.

Multimedia was everywhere at the Phydital Games, and the broadcast picture turned out to be perfect thanks to the careful selection of lighting, technologies and their parameters (brightness, frequency, pixel size)
