Future Games

Information summary

From February 21 to March 3, 2024, the first ever international multi-sport tournament in the phygital concept “Games of the Future” was held in Kazan. 120 countries, 260 teams, more than 2000 athletes, $10 million prize fund. Live broadcasts around the world. Competitions in phygital format (physical + digital) – imply tournaments that combine traditional sports and the digital world (game development, e-sports, robotics, AR, VR, IT and AI).

At the Games of the Future, our company was responsible for what physical sports looks like, how it sounds and feels, and how each of the 13 tournaments takes place. In the world of sports this is called a “sports presentation”, but unlike an understandable purely sports presentation, here the range of work is much wider, more multimedia and everything is very closely connected with the broadcast:

• game concept, general and specific plots
• stage design of all platforms
• multimedia scenography (video content, lighting, sound, sports statistics, profiles, etc.)
• administration of all sites and organizational communication with athletes
• script and conduct of all “calls” in co-creation with the broadcast for international broadcast
